Curriculum
Design Science High School immediately immerses students in a college style program. Students will begin classes with a condensed block schedule and will follow the Fresno City College calendar. In the ninth grade year, student will complete two years of English and two years of math. The accelerated course work is designed to challenge students and prepare them for their course work at the college level. Students continue on in the 10th grade year with college level English or math. All aspects of the program are designed to prepare students to be success in college.
During the ninth and tenth grade year, students are also exposed to college level classes that introduce them to the individual pathways. These introductory course are designed to expose students to the skills and concepts of each pathway. Our hope is that students will make an "educated" decision on their future.
